New York City is centrally located in the Northeastern part of the United States. It is midway between Boston and Washington, DC. New York is a two hour drive to Philadelphia and a two hour drive to the Hamptons. It is also an easy drive from New York to Newport, Rhode Island and Amish Country in Pennsylvania. Eight of the 50 United States are within a 3-hour drive of New York City. The city is so strategically located that George Washington, our first President, called New York "The Gateway to the Empire." Hence today, we call ourselves The Empire State.

New York City serves as an excellent base from which to visit a number of other locations, on one of my day trips from New York. Please review my day trip offerings below. If you do not see what you are looking for, let me know. I also do custom tours. Also be advised that I offer multi-day overnight trips out of New York City to various destinations. These include: 1) a three day/two night trip to the Hamptons, Newport and Boston; 2) a three day/two night trip to Philadelphia, Amish Country and Washington, DC; and more. On all of the below day trips from New York, I will meet you in the morning at the New York City location of your choice and return you to the same in the evening. We will take breaks on the way to our destination and throughout the day. Also on the way to our destination, we will discuss the itinerary options for the day and agree together on a final itinerary. Guests should bring comfortable shoes and be capable of moderate amounts of walking.

Wheelchairs and Scooters
As with all my tours, I can accommodate most wheelchair and scooter users (including the wheelchair and scooter), as long as the guest is able to transfer from the device to the seat of a mini-van and another guest on the tour is available to assist with loading and unloading the device. Please let me know if you will be bringing a wheelchair or scooter on your tour.

Child Safety and Booster Seats
Guests must provide child safety seats for all children ages 3 and younger and booster seats for all children ages 4 to 8. Please let me know if there will be children ages 8 or younger on the tour.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I charge by the day trip. I DO NOT charge on a per person basis. All of my day trips from New York are private, including just you and those who come to New York with you. The prices below are for your party of up to 6 (5 with luggage). For example: the price for a party of 3 is the same as for a party of 6, because I charge by the day trip, not on a per person basis.
